If you are a student currently enrolled in secondary school, and are interested in an opportunity to 'shadow' an architect at work, or in an architect mentoring you, this website is the place for you!

Here you have access to professionals in the the building industry and related architectural design fields who belong to AIA member firms in the Omaha area.

AIA Omaha firms encourage job shadowing, and strive to make practical accommodations available for students to visit and make informed career choices.

To contact a local Architecture/Engineering firm to set an appointment for your own job shadowing time and date, first select the register menu, and enter the data fields required. Next select the schedule menu to set your appointment. Your request will be matched with an AIA firm and will confirm your appointment with an email and provide contact information for your firm representative.

AIA Omaha has over 300 members. The members include, Architects, Engineers, Interior Designers, Educators and product representatives. AIA Omaha gratefully recognizes the efforts of all participants in the partnership to make this service available to the community including AIA Member firms, Peter Kiewit Institute Science and Technology- Information Science Department, University of Nebraska at Omaha , University of Nebraska .
